Leading the Future of Intelligent Manufacturing with Huawei Cloud

Becoming One of Huawei Cloud’s First R2C Protocol Partners

At Huawei Connect 2025, held from September 18 to 20, Zhang Ping’an, Executive Director and CEO of Huawei Cloud, officially launched the Robot to Cloud (R2C) Protocol. This breakthrough initiative promotes intelligent collaboration and efficient execution in the robotics industry, enabling robots to connect seamlessly with the cloud for continuous intelligence upgrades.

Currently, the national standards for the R2C Protocol’s three core domains—data acquisition, data generation, and communication interfaces—have been formally established, marking a major milestone toward industry-wide standardization and large-scale adoption.

As one of the first co-developers of the R2C Protocol, Topstar will collaborate with Huawei Cloud and over 20 ecosystem partners, including Hualong Xunda, Feixi, Yijiahe, and Daohe Tongtai, to explore R2C’s deep integration in manufacturing, logistics, inspection, and healthcare scenarios—accelerating the intelligent transformation of industrial automation.

Building a New OICT Convergence Ecosystem

To address challenges in traditional manufacturing—such as rigid production lines, slow product transitions, low coordination efficiency, and difficulty in small-batch customization—Topstar joined forces with ecosystem partners to unveil the Kunpeng + openEuler + Phoenix + Topstar OICT Hyper-Converged Flexible Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Line at Huawei Connect 2025.

This demonstration line represents the prototype of the future intelligent factory, offering manufacturers a new model for OICT (Operational Technology + Information Technology + Communication Technology) convergence.
